[She declined my invitation to massage her feet.  I believe that if not for her marriage, she might have done it, as she was noteably ambivilant when she said no.  But unfortunately, we'll probably never know, as she clearly said no nonetheless. She assured me that she didn't take it the wrong way herself, but that my note upset her husband.  Since she didn't want to put her marriage on the rocks, she had to turn me down.]

I understand fully. And I suppose, if I were someone’s husband, who received that note, I’d be concerned as well. Your marriage, and keeping it healthy, should be your top priority, particularly where your children are concerned, and I truly wish you continued success and happiness. I just felt that I had to be honest with you. At least now, it’s all known, for better, for worse. Take care.
